Things I Love Thursday

I am so excited to share with ya’ll about a fantastic gift my husband blessed me with.

It is called My Brest Friend, and it is the nursing pillow of all nursing pillows.  This pillow has been such a huge blessing.  I wish I had it for all my kids when I was nursing them!

     My Brest Friend’s features are:

•Deluxe Fabric – Extra soft plush material

•Back Rest – Helps you maintain good posture during feeding, preventing sore backs and necks

•Wrap-Around Design – Secures to the body, helping mom and baby maintain ideal positioning and latch-on

•Arm and Elbow Rests – Eliminate shoulder stress

•Convenient Pocket – For nursing and other accessories

•Firm, Flat-Front Cushion – Eliminates gap between you and your baby, which keeps the baby from rolling in or away during breastfeeding

•Breastfeeding Ease – Flat-top firmness ideal for positioning baby

Here is a picture of me at the Milwaukee Zoo using My Brest Friend.  Ms. Dimples (6 weeks) either nursed or slept the whole time we were there.  This pillow allowed me to carry her easily without tiring out my back or arms.

I love it even when I am sitting on the couch feeding her.  🙂

It is such a back saver.  No back or shoulder strain at all.  Ms. Dimples is supported so that I can even blog and feed her at the same time.  How great is that?!

My Brest Friend is one of the items every breastfeeding mom should have!

I was not paid for this “endorsement”.  My pillow was not free.  My husband bought it for me, and I am so happy with it that I wanted to share that with you.

  1. I always just used a Boppy, but I have heard such amazing things about this one. Maybe I can spring for it for baby #3.

  2. My husband bought me this nursing pillow when my daughter was a few days old. At first I thought he was nuts, it looked so big and bulky. But what a godsend! Don’t know what I would have done without it. I especially loved that it gave me one hand free while nursing, I could read a book during those long nursing marathons!

  3. I had the same pillow and absolutely loved it! I did modify it, though, I didn’t like all that foam behind my back. I cut half of it off. This made breastfeeding so easy in the beginning that we are still at it after 2 years and 9 months 🙂 (sans the pillow by now, of course).

  4. If you were going to give a new mom advice what would it be so that they would be able to keep at bf even when it gets hard. I need a new approach with a friend…mine isn’t working! 🙂

I might get her one of these pillows instead of the boppy…I wasn’t in love with the boppy!

Thanks for posting about this…and visiting my blog yesterday!

  5. Okay, so I know that those pillows are expensive, but mine (pillow and baby) are 11 months old and I’ve used that pillow for all of those 11 months. Every day for 11 months… less than $3 a month for that pillow- priceless! And think of all that money you are saving on formula. Great review of a great product!
