Sometimes I will catch him watching me in the mirror.
His lips are slightly upturned in a smile.
But his eyes are full of mischief.
He makes me feel beautiful.
Even on the days I refuse to look in the mirror!

re: the “look” that makes you feel pretty when you otherwise DON’T feel pretty…. how do they DO that?! it doesn’t matter, it’s wonderful. isn’t it!
