My Thursday Thirteen this week is 13 goals for 2008. Some are on the homestead while some are personal and such.
1. Build a house -no bank, just God and us. How is that for sweat equity!
2. Fence the pasture and cross section it.
3. Build the new duck enclosure
4. Read an entire book or two! I have several I am interested in and would love to find the time to do so. Ya know, a little personal time.
5. Be more focused, intentional and careful of our finiancial goals, spending and projects.
6. Plant more blackberries, blueberries and get some grape vines.
7. Have a yard sale to get rid of a lot of stuff we just don’t need.
8. Have a big enough garden to can and freeze enough for winter.
9. Go through and organize (yet again) all of our arts/ crafts supplies, books, homeschooling materials and supplies. I will probably use a week of summer break to do this.
10. Demo the upper deck that overlooks the creek side and create a retaining wall and sitting area there.
11. Build two animal shelters in the pastures.
12. Focus on a renewed energy for my workouts and physical health. I need to change up some of the strength training exercises and see what areas I need to work harder on.
13. Take more daily time for my devotions, prayers and personal time with God. I like to go outside, look up at the sky and have an intense conversation with God. Out loud, of course! It is such an engergizing connection and I want to do that much more often.
Well, that is my TT for this week and my first of 2008. What is yours?
Leave me a comment and a link to yours so I can come visit!
Have a great and blessed 2008.
Now, go check out some more TT’s.
All for His glory,

Hi, I definitely agree with 13!! I would like to take the time to pray edaily, especially in the morning. I also can relate to 9, I have lots of beads and supplies, and they’re somewhat organized, but I don’t have that much space to keep them in. I did a TT list too, it’s here: http://lifes-adventures.net
Cheers!!

Ambitious goals and I wish you the best of luck with them all, I have the same theme this week.
You know I organize our homeschool stuff too many times and it never stays that way.
Those are some lofty goals! Good luck!

Hello, you stopped by my blog at the Christmas Tour of Homes. I didn’t get a chance to go and see those who commented me, because my Christmas was very hetic, so I am now just catching up.
Your goals are *very* large! WOW! But they are good goals too.
I also saw how you decorated your home for Christmas. Your mantle is VERY beautiful, and I love the your wreaths. Thank you for sharing.
Okay, I am begging my pals for a bit of help today and this week. I entered a poetry contest, part of my writing goal, and am asking you pop here: http://wannabeawritersomeday.blogspot.com/2008/01/i-am-entering-poetry-contest-yikes-and.html and if you like what you read, think about following the link at the end of the post and voting for me.
Thanks a bunch.
Your pal, Penelope
