It has been absolutely busy around here. I have signed Ms. Serious up for ballet and Short Man, Ms. Firecracker and Ms. Banana up for gymnastics. Ms. Serious had to take one class of gymnastics until next week when her teacher will be back. After we got home she promptly informed me that she was very glad to be taking ballet. Gymnastics has just way to much jumping, flipping and such. LOL
Short Man thoroughly enjoyed himself and is looking forward to going back. I am so glad they have a boys class! He loves being physical like that and being able to focus his energy into something as diverse as gymnastics. Coach Billy divides time up into floor mat time, uneven bar time, balance beam time and strength training time. Ms. Banana had a blast as well. She was right in there doing everything the older kids were. Ms. Firecracker took to gymnastics like a duck to water. Her coach told me that she was accomplishing everything too easily and was not being challenged. He wants to put her on one of his teams and train her from there. All of that was after only 1 lesson. We are all excited. Mr. Muscles and I had talked about putting her in gymnastics for a couple of years. She has always shown a talent for it. I know Ms. Serious will show the same knack in ballet.
